Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and sanitized dishwashing station, ensuring all utensils, cookware, and dishware are spotless and ready for use.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items to support chefs and kitchen staff.
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing necessary food items and ensuring timely setup and cleanup.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Help with general cleaning duties within the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold health regulations.
- Buss tables and assist with serving guests when needed, contributing to smooth restaurant or event service flow.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is valued!
- Familiarity with basic kitchen tasks such as cleaning dishes, food prep, or assisting in catering settings is advantageous.
