- 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday, occasional evening/ weekends
- Day shift, typically 9a-5p
- Organize, schedule, direct and supervise the Environmental Services Team Members: Housekeeping, Laundry and Maintenance
- Serve and mentor others to serve residents with patience and dignity
- Coordinate and assist with routine maintenance, upkeep and repairs on all dwellings, grounds, systems, equipment and facilities
- Conduct regular inspections of property and equipment for compliance with safety regulations
- Manage inventory, supplies and equipment for maintenance, housekeeping and laundry departments
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization and safe layout of facility, maintenance barn, utility rooms and storage areas.
- Exercise grace and love interacting with fellow staff, residents, their families and visitors
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a supervisor role, showing strong leadership abilities and willingness to lead by example
- Schooling and/or official training in advanced maintenance duties preferred
- Familiarity with MIOSHA and other safety requirements and practices
- Preferred 3 years of experience in maintenance for residential and/ or commercial environments
- Knowledge of record keeping, cost estimating, supplies and equipment used to manage a residential and/ or commercial environment such as boilers, compressors, generators and various mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems
- Ability to train, coach and motivate direct reports
- Willingness to learn and use online staff scheduling program
- Take pride in producing high quality handiwork
