Responsibilities
- Provide Medication administration, record vitals and maintain accurate medical records.
- Conduct patient education on treatment plans, medication usage, and health maintenance strategies while demonstrating excellent patient service skills.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and policies while maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Active empathy, patience and direct care support.
- A love for old TV shoes like Golden Girls and Lassie
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Medical Assistant, RN license, or CLNA certification with current active status.
- Proven experience in home healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical terminology, lifts, gait belt, personal hygiene and medical assisting techniques.
- Experience with phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs collection, basic life support certification required.
- Prior inpatient or outpatient experience in hospital or clinic environments is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and teamwork; leading with compassion.
