Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience in Microsoft Defender for Identity and threat investigation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Sentinel for security information and event management.
- Experience in developing Sentinel playbooks and automated response workflows.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory security administration.
- Experience in Kusto Query Language (KQL) for advanced threat hunting.
- Experience with Exchange transport rules and tenant block/allow list configuration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and remediate high-priority security alerts within Sentinel and Defender platforms.
- Develop automated response playbooks and workflows to streamline incident remediation.
- Conduct technical investigations and perform advanced threat hunting using Kusto queries.
- Execute forensic data collection and analysis to support security investigations.
- Configure Exchange transport rules and security policies to mitigate messaging threats.
- Manage and maintain tenant-level security configurations and environmental block lists.
- Enforce enterprise security policies and procedures across integrated identity systems.
