Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience in Microsoft Defender for Identity and threat investigation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Sentinel for security information and event management.
• Experience in developing Sentinel playbooks and automated response workflows.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory security administration.
• Experience in Kusto Query Language (KQL) for advanced threat hunting.
• Experience with Exchange transport rules and tenant block/allow list configuration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Monitor and remediate high-priority security alerts within Sentinel and Defender platforms.
• Develop automated response playbooks and workflows to streamline incident remediation.
• Conduct technical investigations and perform advanced threat hunting using Kusto queries.
• Execute forensic data collection and analysis to support security investigations.
• Configure Exchange transport rules and security policies to mitigate messaging threats.
• Manage and maintain tenant-level security configurations and environmental block lists.
• Enforce enterprise security policies and procedures across integrated identity systems.
