Job description
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout and assembly of ductwork and piping systems
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to braze and solder components together
- Perform pipe threading and plasma cutting as needed
- Adhere to codes, standards, and safety regulations while working on projects
- Operate press brake machines for bending and shaping metal sheets
- Use machining tools to fabricate and modify parts as required
- Assemble and install components according to specifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in brazing is required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of HVAC systems
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and safety regulations related to ductwork and piping systems
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment effectively
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
