RSD DSP (Direct Support Professional) Shift differential for overnight shifts!

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting individuals in need and providing support in various settings such as assisted living facilities or nursing homes.

Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Help individuals with mobility issues to move around their living spaces
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
- Implement care plans and report any changes in the individual's condition to supervisors

Requirements
- Experience in nursing, assisted living, or direct support is preferred
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies calmly
- Familiarity with systems for documenting care provided
- Ability to drive individuals to appointments or outings as needed
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Certification in CPR and basic life support is a plus
- Understanding of long-term care principles and practices

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
