Contract Duration: 13 weeks with possibility of extension
Shift Type: Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Job Description
The Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) Traveler provides safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing diverse patient needs across LTAC and Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing vital sign monitoring.
- Administer medications, including IV therapy, per facility and state guidelines.
- Provide wound care, respiratory support, and assist with orthopedic cases.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain strict infection control and safety standards.
- Ensure patient dignity and comfort while supporting optimal recovery outcomes.
- Utilize EPIC EMR efficiently for documentation and clinical workflows.
Mandatory Skills
- Active SC LPN/LVN License
- BLS and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 1 year EPIC EMR experience
