RN - Cath Lab

Job Description

• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready prior to cases.
• Scrub and circulate during diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures.
• Assist physicians during left and right heart catheterizations, PCI/PTCA, cardiac stent placement, angioplasty, and vascular interventions.
• Perform patient preparation, including EKG lead placement, access site preparation, and procedural monitoring.
• Monitor hemodynamics and recognize life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias during procedures.
• Assist with venous access procedures, central line care, PICC line maintenance, and port management.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention and radiation safety standards.
• Accurately document procedures and patient care according to facility policies.

Any Specific Mandate skill required

• Shift: Days – 4x10 Hours (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
• Call Required: Yes

Float Required: Yes – Within Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology as needed

Pay: Up to $1,800.00 per week

License/Certification:

• Minimum 2 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience. (Required)
• Current ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS certification (required). (Required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications. (Required)
• Experience in Diagnostic . (Required)
• Experience Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Labs. (Required)
• NEURO SKILLS HIGHLY PREFERRED (Required)
