Position: UI Developer
Location: Austin, TX – Onsite

Description:
Project Migration from Angular to React.
- Participate in the migration of existing Angular applications to React while ensuring feature parity and minimal business disruption.
- Analyze Angular components, services, directives, and modules to design equivalent React components using modern React patterns.
- Develop reusable, modular, and maintainable React components using functional components and Hooks.
- Collaborate with architects and senior developers to define the migration strategy, component architecture, and coding standards.
- Convert Angular templates, routing, forms, and state management into React-based implementations.
- Integrate React applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Manage application state using Context API, Redux, Redux Toolkit, or other approved state management libraries.
- Implement responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible user interfaces following modern web standards.
- Optimize application performance through code splitting, lazy loading, memoization, and efficient rendering techniques.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding guidelines and best practices.
- Create and maintain unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar testing frameworks.
- Debug and resolve UI defects, browser compatibility issues, and production incidents.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to accurately implement designs and improve user experience.
- Work with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployments.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility (WCAG), security, and performance best practices.
- Assist in migrating Angular routing, forms, dependency injection patterns, and lifecycle methods to React equivalents.
- Contribute to technical documentation, migration guides, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
- Estimate development effort, identify technical risks, and proactively communicate project status and blockers.
- Support production deployments, perform root cause analysis for issues, and implement sustainable fixes.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6 ) and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with both Angular and React.
- Experience with React Hooks, Context API, Redux/Redux Toolkit, and React Router.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Bootstrap, Material UI, or similar UI frameworks.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous programming.
- Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps/GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and browser compatibility.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
