Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead – Workday ERP Transformation
Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite – Rogers Park)
Type: Contract
Resource 1 is seeking an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead to support a major enterprise system transformation at a large university serving 5,000 faculty, staff, and student workers.
This role will lead the change strategy, stakeholder engagement, and adoption efforts during a critical phase of implementation. The ideal candidate will bring experience supporting ERP or enterprise SaaS transformations and be comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead OCM strategy and adoption planning for a large-scale enterprise system implementation.
- Conduct stakeholder engagement, change impact assessments, and communication planning across departments.
- Partner with the implementation partner’s OCM team to tailor change frameworks and best practices.
- Drive organizational readiness, adoption, and process standardization.
- Support communications, training alignment, and change readiness activities.
- Mentor an OCM Specialist and help establish the foundation for a Change Management Office (CMO).
Qualifications
- 7 years of Organizational Change Management experience supporting enterprise technology initiatives.
- Experience supporting ERP, HRIS, Finance, or enterprise SaaS implementations.
- Workday experience preferred but not required.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and change adoption expertise.
- Familiarity with Prosci, ACMP, or similar change management frameworks.
- Higher Education experience is a plus.
