Position Overview:
The Cage Cashier will be responsible for the safeguard of company assets, performs function as cashier as well as support Sports Betting operations and performs all main banker functions.
Essential Functions:
- Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers
- Supports Sports Betting operation
- Performs function as cashier
- Efficient and timely exchange of proper payouts
- Performs all vault functions – manages and maintains custody of coin, currency, checks and records of cage transactions on shift
- Accountable for assigned cashier bank and reconcile at the end of the shift
- Maintains strict confidentiality of internal activities
- Cleans up work area, helps maintain facility cleanliness and performs other duties as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the resort casino
- Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, 24-hour casino environment and effectively deal with guests, colleagues, team members, vendors and members of the business community in all situations
Experience:
- Previous cashiering experience preferred
Knowledge:
- High School Graduate or GED
