We are seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy team at Resorts of Augsburg. This role is critical in ensuring residents receive high-quality rehabilitation services while meeting all regulatory and compliance standards. The DOR will oversee PT, OT, and ST services, providing leadership, guidance, and strategic direction to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day operations of the rehab department in a SNF setting
Ensure resident-centered care and high-quality rehabilitation services
Supervise, mentor, and schedule therapy staff (PT, OT, ST, and assistants)
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including CMS guidelines
Collaborate with nursing, medical, and administrative teams to develop individualized care plans
Monitor departmental performance, outcomes, and productivity metrics
Lead initiatives to improve therapy services, resident satisfaction, and quality indicators
Licensed PT, OT, or SLP in Maryland
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a SNF/subacute rehab environment
Strong knowledge of SNF regulations, Medicare, and reimbursement procedures
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
