Technical Assignments

Summary of job content: 

Reporting to the VP People and central services will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, coordination & monitoring of Management Systems such as EMAS or ISO 14000 & 45000. Develop and maintain statutory compliance and good industrial practice in the operation of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, processes, and training to promote safe working practices and protect the Company’s interest. Main goal is to raise the safety awareness of all the organization to a higher level following a Company key strategy.

Education & Experience 

• 3 years in a similar industrial role
• Engineering degree; postgraduate in OHSE

Skills & Competencies 

• Knowledge of ISO 14001/ 45001and EMAS 
• Fluent in English 
• Strong communicationand leadership skills 

Key Accountabilities:

• Implement HSE Global policies.
• Prepare and enforce policies toestablisha culture of HSE. 
• Promotes good practices related to HSE matters by coaching and training all employees.
• Initiate improvements inHSE. Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities,or new prevention measures.
• Develops and executes HSE plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines inco-workingwith Site Managers and Global Functions. 
• Monitor compliancewithpolicies/laws by inspecting employees, operations, and equipment toobservepossible unsafe acts/conditions. 
• Evaluate the impact of changes, investments, or repairsonthe site from the point of view of HSE impact.
• Conduct training and presentations for HSE matters and accident preventionandGo & See Activities
• Responsible foraccident/incidentor occupational illness analysis anddefiningcorrective actions.
• Controls observance of HSE requirements in the plant and reports non-conformance
• Representsthe legal entity in front of authorities in HSE matters, HS Committee,andemployee representatives.
• Plans andconductaudits andHSE-relatedsurveys.
• SupervisestheHSE-relateddocumentation and activities.
• To report on HSE awareness, issues, and statistics.
• ResponsibleforHSE Management Systems certifications.
