Position Responsibilities
Our Engineering Interns are exposed to the full range of responsibilities and duties that our full time Facility Yard Laborer’s have. These include:
- Daily preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Become familiar with the company’s Integrated Management System and assist in efforts to implement quality processes into Resolve field project operations to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
- Ensure adherence to Resolve’s policies and procedures as set forth in the Field Guidebook, the Employee Handbook and all other established policies, standard operating procedures, and work rules of the company.
- Lend assistance as required from the office or warehouse in supporting on-going field operations. Duties may include assisting with equipment maintenance, improvements, and special projects. Utilize the full spectrum of skills learned in the field to include heavy equipment operation, welding, rigging, gas/diesel mechanics, hydraulic repair, etc.
- Site maintenance, including but not limited to:
- Proper storage of gear, rigging, and supplies
- Trash control including keeping all trash and scrap metal picked up and disposed of in the correct containers.
- School Year – Completed Junior standing and above
- Computer Skills – GHS, AutoCAD (2D drafting), Microsoft Office Suite
- GPA – 3.0 and above
- U.S. work authorization
- Sit or Stand
- Walk
- Use Hands/Fingers to handle or feel
- Exposure to work: Outside weather conditions, fumes, shipyard work environment, Maritime work spaces
