In-Home Caregiver for Special Needs Individual
Location: Bowling Green, KY
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Hours Available: Approximately 15 hours per week
Schedule
· Weekdays: Flexible hours (please let us know your availability).
· Weekends: Saturday and/or Sunday
About the Position
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic caregiver to provide in-home and community-based support for a female. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, is patient, creative, and values building meaningful relationships. A love of dogs is especially important, as dogs are a regular part of the home environment.
As a Personal Assistant, you will help support independence, daily routines, and community involvement while ensuring a safe and positive environment.
Responsibilities
· Assist with personal care.
· Meal preparation and assistance with eating.
· Medication reminders and assistance with medication administration.
· Provide supervision, guidance, and encouragement during daily activities.
· Support participation in community activities, appointments, and recreational outings.
· Promote independence, skill development, and overall well-being.
· Interact positively with family pets and be comfortable around dogs.
Qualifications
· Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
· Energetic and comfortable participating in community activities.
· Flexible and able to adapt to changing needs.
· Comfortable providing personal care assistance.
· At least 18 years old.
· Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
· Non-smoker preferred.
· Loves being around dogs.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
