Typical Shift

Your shift will start with traveling to the home of your assigned client. Client needs vary, so we match Care Pros’ skills to each client's needs. You may be asked to perform light housekeeping, companionship, outings, medical appointments, showers, toileting, medication reminders, dressing, grooming, oral care, escorting, transferring, medication administration, or any other ADL or IADL according to the client’s needs. You will NOT be asked to do skilled nursing tasks like injections, wound care, or therapy.

Candidate Profiles

Caregiver Responsibilities:
 

• Assisting patients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other activities of daily living.
• Helping with general light housekeeping.
• Making arrangements for or providing transportation as needed.
• Observing and reporting on a patient’s condition.
• Keeping up with in-service training.
• Enters patients records daily in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and procedures; incidents and observations, reports any changes in patients’ physical condition and/or behavior; observes and documents the health and emotional condition of each patient; promptly reports any changes to the supervisor

Pay

• Starting at $15.00-$17.00 
• Additional $1.00 for weekend shifts

Requirements

• Reliable transportation with Valid Driver's Licence and Car Insurance
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• In-home caregiving experience supporting elderly clients with ADLs
• Experience creating a safe, effective environment
• Listening, analyzing information, and focusing on quality
• Dependability and punctuality
• Physical ability to reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and lift up to 25 lbs. while avoiding potential injury from transferring, repositioning, or lifting residents
