General Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION: The General Manager is responsible for managing day to day operations ensuring that operating personnel execute according to company policies and procedures. The G.M. provides leadership, coordinates problem resolution and ensures operational activities are carried out according to the RT business plan. This position is also responsible for materials management and purchasing.

Primary Responsibility

• Responsible for the overall operations at MD Plant
• Drive billing
• Ensure compliance with all permits and corporate safety training requirements
• Ensure compliance with all hazardous waste rules and regulations with Ops Manager
• Oversee all employees
• Responsible for developing and implementing process improvements 
• Complete responsibility for purchasing
• Sourcing for all System components and used resins
• Production Scheduling with Operations Manager
• Provide direction / support for Customer Service 
• Negotiate pricing for materials and services
• Work with Operations Manager to address workflow and quality issues or concerns
• Review and approve all business expenses
• Work with accounts payables and receivables to approve payments and address any receivable issues
• Work with satellite locations on inventory, production and pricing needs

Secondary Responsibility

• Responsible for creating custom Sage reports
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment for employees.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years related experience
• Must have strong Management skills and ability to multi-task
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Familiar with the business models at all ResinTech entities  

• Must have proficient computer skills/knowledge of general MS Office and MRP software
