What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Manager position at Resinate, Inc.?
We are looking for an individual to be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, including but not limited to mechanical systems, plumbing, or electrical grids in a cannabis production facility pursuant to and in compliance with local and state laws and regulations, including especially MA CMR 725 et seq. This role is in charge of a range of day-to-day tasks at the facility as well as being on-call to respond to system needs off regular business hours. Based on the production schedule and in conjunction with the Cultivation Director, you will identify work tasks, schedule and manage daily activities while clearly communicating facility needs to senior management.
Requirements for this position include the following:
- Massachusetts mechanical or electrical license preferred; Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facility maintenance, repairs, freight/docks, or mechanical work
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, irrigation and mechanical systems preferred.
- Experience specific to indoor cultivation environments is desirable.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to multitask and manage time
- Must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic
Due to cannabis industry regulations, all candidates must be at least 21 years old, receive background clearance, and must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Candidates must be able to be on call for emergency work nights, weekends and holidays as well as have reliable transportation.

- Exposure to fertilizer, dusts, odors, high heat, high humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables
- Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 75 pounds (125 pounds with assistance), may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.

- See details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
- See details of objects that are more than a few feet away.
It is not as important, but still necessary, to be able to:
