Position Overview
Resillion U.S., LLC is seeking an experienced Editor to support editorial workflows, conforming, versioning, VFX integration, and post-production finishing processes across feature films, television, and streaming content. This role assists with final conform and editorial processes, prepares and manages timelines, integrates VFX elements, and ensures content assets meet technical and creative standards prior to delivery.
The ideal candidate has strong editorial experience, technical knowledge of post-production workflows, familiarity with VFX pipelines, and an understanding of color correction and finishing processes within a fast-paced professional environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across editorial, VFX, finishing, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and conform client assets into updated timelines while maintaining editorial accuracy, frame integrity, and version consistency.
- Assist with final conform and finishing workflows, ensuring editorial changes, VFX updates, and client revisions are accurately implemented.
- Integrate VFX shots, replacement elements, and updated assets into editorial timelines while maintaining proper version control and creative intent.
- Review VFX shots and composited elements to ensure technical accuracy, consistency, and readiness prior to delivery.
- Support VFX workflows by preparing shots, reviewing outputs, and troubleshooting technical issues related to media, timelines, and asset integration.
- Assemble marketing materials, promotional content, and other editorial assets as required.
- Prepare and organize project media, timelines, and assets throughout the post-production process.
- Utilize professional editing tools, including DaVinci Resolve, to support editorial, conforming, and finishing workflows.
- Apply basic color correction and grading adjustments as needed while understanding color-managed workflows and creative intent.
- Perform timeline reviews to verify edits, synchronization, runtime, transitions, VFX integration, and overall project accuracy.
- Maintain organized project files, track revisions, and manage multiple versions throughout the production lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot editorial, VFX, media, and workflow issues in collaboration with Operations, Quality Control, and Engineering teams.
- Follow established workflows, naming conventions, and project specifications.
- Communicate project status, technical issues, and delivery updates with project managers and production teams.
- Support workflow improvements and departmental best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 years of professional experience in editing, conforming, VFX editorial, post-production finishing, or a related role.
- Advanced proficiency with DaVinci Resolve and experience working within professional post-production environments.
- Strong understanding of editorial workflows, including conforming, versioning, media organization, and timeline management.
- Experience supporting VFX workflows, including shot integration, replacements, compositing reviews, and final conform processes.
- Experience working with editorial interchange formats including EDL, XML, and AAF.
- Knowledge of professional video formats, codecs, frame rates, timecode, and audio synchronization.
- Familiarity with color correction tools, color-managed workflows, and grading concepts.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to editorial timelines, VFX assets, media, and delivery workflows.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience supporting feature film, television, or streaming productions preferred.
