About Our Claims Support Specialist
The Claims Support Specialist will provide administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the claims department and accounts receivable system.
What a Claims Support Specialist Does At Resilient Health
- Process 270/271 eligibility files within Clearinghouse and EHR
- Update participant insurance in the EHR to reflect changes received in eligibility files
- Report eligibility changes to Benefits Specialist and Clinical Staff to reassess benefits with participants as needed
- Submit medical records to payers as required for claim processing
- Submit authorization requests to payers, as needed
- Organize and distribute incoming mail for the claims department
- Provide administrative support for the claims department
- Consistently meet established performance expectations, including quality, productivity, and adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two years experience providing administrative support in a healthcare setting, preferably in a behavioral health organization
- Familiar with EHR and computerized billing/eligibility functions
- Valid driver's license
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Three-year Motor Vehicle Record that meets our auto insurance carrier's coverage requirements
What This Position Pays: Up to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience
