What you will be doing:
- Develop plans for projects, supervising and participating in project design
- Design and oversee a wide variety of projects related to municipal improvements
- Conduct street designing and street needs studies
- Complete technical analyses of the necessity of new streets, including modifications of existing streets
- Maintain city-wide maps, plans, and thoroughfare plans
- Contribute traffic engineering principles to the design of traffic signals, signs, lights, and maintenance
- Maintain databases per project manager’s direction
- Research, write, and edit technical reports and business correspondence
- Spend time in the field offering engineering support and recommendations
- Field review and/or site visits or field work as required
- Attend project-related meetings as required
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
Experience you will need:
- Knowledge of municipal engineering design principles and techniques including municipal engineering, wastewater, stormwater management, and water supply and project management
- 10 or more years of on-the-job experience
- Current OH PE license
