We need a senior civil litigator with 12 years of practice experience who can independently manage a full litigation docket from day one. You should be comfortable in the courtroom with strong motion practice, discovery, and trial experience, and have a track record of handling complex commercial, real estate, and construction litigation matters. Bonus points if you bring experience in business torts, business dissolution litigation, or appeals.

What You'll Do
- Own and manage a full civil litigation docket independently across the firm's practice areas (real estate, construction, commercial business, business torts, and general civil litigation)
- Handle all phases of litigation including trial preparation, motion practice, discovery, and depositions
- Work directly with the Managing Partner (Matt Taylor) and firm leadership on case strategy and client matters
- Maintain high-quality, substantive client communication — the firm prioritizes a differentiated client journey with greater frequency and depth of attorney-client interaction
- Contribute to the firm's growth by potentially developing new practice areas aligned with your expertise and interests
- Meet a minimum billable requirement of 120 hours/month (1,440 annually) — significantly below BigLaw standards — with uncapped quarterly bonus opportunity for hours above the threshold
- Work-life balance is real here — attorneys are generally out by 5pm with no weekend work expected (except occasional trial prep)
- Uncapped quarterly bonus — $130K–$150K base $25K–$50K annually in formulaic bonuses based on hours and revenue above the 120hr/month minimum
- No business development required — the firm invests ~$200K/year in marketing to bring in clients; book of business is welcome but not required
- No consultation or pro bono requirements — a dedicated intake specialist handles all new client consultations
- Non-equity partnership track available after 1–2 years of commitment (program currently being developed)
