What You’ll Be Doing
Product strategy & lifecycle ownership
- Own full product lifecycle: concept → development → launch → optimization
- Define and execute product roadmap aligned with business goals
- Manage timelines, risks, vendors, and resource allocation
- Lead market research and build business cases (ROI, NPV)
- Drive new product development and post-launch performance optimization
- Act as subject matter expert in molecular and cellular biology markets
- Analyze market trends, competition, and emerging technologies
- Build and present growth strategies (new products, expansion, acquisitions)
- Lead go/no-go decisions with senior leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers
- Drive performance, alignment, and execution across multiple product lines
- Guide teams through complex development and cross-functional challenges
- Identify and evaluate partnerships, research collaborations, and acquisitions
- Define collaboration frameworks and align with internal capabilities
- Support negotiations and track partnership performance
- Partner with sales to set budgets and hit revenue targets
- Develop go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns
- Build sales enablement tools and train internal teams/distributors
- Track performance and optimize ROI across campaigns
- Represent the organization at scientific conferences and industry events
- 18 years in life sciences product marketing
- 10 years leading high-performing teams
- Strong experience owning full product lifecycle and driving growth strategy
- Deep expertise in molecular biology (PCR/qPCR, cloning, DNA purification)
- Exposure to advanced areas like cell & gene therapy, viral delivery, or protein expression
- Strong business acumen (financial modeling, market strategy, P&L thinking)
- Ability to translate complex science into commercial outcomes
- Proven cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence
