About the Position
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support a woman living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in her home in Chaska, MN. This role focuses primarily on mobility support, occasional transfers, and light household assistance to help maintain independence and quality of life.
The PCA will be part of a collaborative team of four assistants, sharing coverage and coordinating schedules to ensure consistent support.
Responsibilities
- Assist with mobility and occasional transfers
- Provide supervision and support during daily routines
- Help with light household tasks (tidying, organization, basic chores)
- Promote safety, dignity, and independence
- Communicate with the PCA team to coordinate schedules and updates
Ideal Candidate
- Patient, dependable, and respectful
- Comfortable assisting with mobility needs
- Able to work collaboratively with a small care team
- Prior PCA, caregiving, or healthcare experience preferred (not required)
- Must be reliable with strong communication skills
Schedule & Hours
- Approximately 15-25 hours per week currently (with more available if requested)
- Flexible scheduling coordinated with the PCA team
