Pool Attendant

Position Summary

The Pool & Patio Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming pool and outdoor patio environment for hotel guests. This role ensures all amenities are stocked, furniture is organized, and hotel policies are followed to enhance the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool and patio areas at all times
• Regularly clean pool deck, patio surfaces, and surrounding areas
• Wipe down, straighten, and organize patio and pool furniture after guest use
• Ensure pool towels are fully stocked, neatly displayed, and replenish as needed
• Collect used towels and coordinate with housekeeping/laundry for cleaning
• Monitor pool area for cleanliness, safety, and guest compliance with hotel policies
• Verify that all pool guests are authorized by checking for required wristbands
• Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or suspicious activity immediately
• Empty trash receptacles and keep the area free of debris
• Assist guests with basic needs (towels, directions, etc.) in a friendly and professional manner

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
• Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused attitude
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift (up to 25–30 lbs) for extended periods
• Must be reliable and able to work independently

Work Environment

• Primarily outdoors in pool and patio areas
• Exposure to heat, sun, and varying weather conditions
• Requires frequent movement and physical activity

Schedule

• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Shifts may vary based on pool hours and occupancy levels

• Bending, lifting, and reaching
• Ability to work in hot or sunny conditions for extended periods

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
