What You'll Do As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including guest rooms, laundry, and public areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all guest rooms meet brand cleanliness and presentation standards
- Supervise and support housekeeping staff including room attendants, laundry attendants, and public area attendants
- Train team members on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedure
- Create weekly schedules based on occupancy and business needs
- Assign daily housekeeping boards and ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain inventory of linens, supplies, and amenities; place orders as needed
- Conduct quarterly linen inventory
- Ensure laundry operations meet health and safety standards
- Inspect rooms and report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate lost & found records and assist with returning guest items
- Collaborate with the front desk to ensure room status accuracy
- Review daily room counts and assist with payroll verification
