- Manage the front desk during overnight hours, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Handle all financial transactions accurately, including billing, cash handling, and account reconciliations
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Conduct nightly audits of hotel accounts, verifying charges and balancing cash drawers to maintain financial accuracy
- Monitor security systems and perform routine safety checks to ensure the safety of guests and staff
- Maintain clear communication with daytime staff by preparing detailed shift reports and updates on ongoing issues or incidents
- Assist with administrative tasks such as phone management using multi-line phone systems and managing guest requests efficiently
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is highly preferred
- Strong background in night audit procedures or hotel accounting processes is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems to streamline operations
- Demonstrated ability to handle guest relations with professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, including phone etiquette and guest services best practices
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail
