We are seeking a professional and courteous Part-Time Front Desk Agent to join our team here at the Best Western Plus Waynesboro Inn and Suites for 2-3 days a week. As our Front Desk Agent, you will ensure every interaction with a guest is a positive and memorable experience from the time they arrive on the property until they depart. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
The required hours for this position are 8-hour shifts, and the candidate must be able to work 12:00am-8:00am. The hospitality industry is a 24/7, 365 days/yr industry, and these hours/shifts are not suited for everyone. Schedule flexibility is required. Weekends and holidays are required, and the days worked will vary each week.

Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.
- Respond to guests requests
- Assist guests with reservations online, over the phone, and in-person
- Work as a team with co-workers to complete checklists and daily duties
- Prepare and consistently restock the front desk with supplies
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data and identification
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, our amenities; and information about the surrounding area in general
- Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs. Liaise with our maintenance staff to ensure all rooms/amenities are functional
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of booking and payments
