Duties
- Monitor construction sites or work areas to detect potential fire hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Conduct regular inspections of fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and alarm systems to verify proper operation and compliance with codes
- Assist licensed technicians with installation, testing, and maintenance of fire safety systems, including fire alarm and sprinkler fitting tasks
- Maintain clear communication with site supervisors, emergency responders, and team members during shifts or incidents
- Document all inspections, observations, and safety checks accurately in logs or reports
- Enforce security measures by controlling access points and monitoring activity around the work area
- Support the setup of alarm systems for sales demonstrations or client consultations as needed
Requirements
- Strong understanding of security protocols and safety procedures on construction sites or industrial environments
- Basic knowledge of system design principles related to fire alarms, sprinklers, and alarm systems
- Experience or familiarity with construction inspection processes is preferred
- Ability to identify potential hazards related to fire safety and communicate findings effectively
