Key Responsibilities
- Suite & Room Cleaning: Clean guest suites, sanitize bathrooms, make beds, replace terry/linens, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and empty trash.
- Kitchen Care: Clean full in-suite kitchens, including wiping appliances (refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops), cleaning sinks, and organizing cookware/dishes.
- Inventory & Restocking: Restock guest amenities, bath products, paper goods, and kitchen supplies. Keep housekeeping carts organized and fully stocked.
- Maintenance & Quality Control: Inspect rooms for missing appliances or damaged items and promptly report maintenance issues or safety hazards to engineering.
- Guest Relations: Respond politely to guest requests, acknowledge guests in hallways, and deliver extra amenities following Marriott service standards.
Physical Requirements
RequirementDetails:
Lifting & MovingLift, carry, and move objects up to 25–50 lbs without assistance.
Pushing / PullingPush and pull heavy housekeeping carts over carpets and uneven surfaces.
Stamina & MobilityStand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead for the duration of a shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior hotel housekeeping experience is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
