Program Details:

•Pay: $20/hour
•Interviews: December 2025 – January 2026
Program Requirements:
•Must be enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's or master’s program in accounting or other related fields.
•Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting/real estate terminology.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
•Strong analytical and communication skills.
•Must be detail-oriented, a team player, eager to learn, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
What to Expect:
Intern will have the opportunity to work with RCP team members on several property accounts that will be in various stages of development/underwriting throughout the 10-week summer internship.
Experiential Learning:
•Weekly professional development workshops with other interns in the following areas: industrial/self-storage development, industrial/office underwriting and acquisitions, market research, Argus training, property management, leasing, debt and equity markets & sourcing.
•Become proficient in the RCP accounting systems
•Accounting fundamentals in commercial real estate
•Accounts payable and receivable processes
•Financial statement preparation and reporting
•Budgeting and forecasting for development projects
•Property-level accounting and cost tracking
•Exposure to debt and equity structures from an accounting perspective
•Software training (Excel, Yardi, QuickBooks, etc.)
Potential for Full-time Placement:
•Interns who demonstrate a strong understanding of the subject matter, work well in a team environment, and are eager to work hard will have the opportunity to earn a full-time position
•For Dallas-based interns, RCP offers the opportunity to continue work through the school year and is accommodating of class schedules
