About the Role
Knighted is looking to expand our team and bring on a paid Accounting Intern for an exciting 14-week opportunity. Open to college Juniors or Seniors studying Accounting or a related field, this internship is all about developing real-world skills, mentorship and networking, and getting hands-on experience at a fast-growing company in a unique industry.
We’re looking for someone who can work with us from January 19th through April 24th, working approximately 20 hours per week, three days in-office.

Real-World Experience
- Hands-on exposure to general ledger accounting, compliance schedules, and account reconciliations in a fast-paced, exciting industry at a competitive hourly rate
- Work with real client data under supervision, gaining insight into day-to-day accounting operations
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
Skill Development
- Exposure to industry-standard tools like NetSuite and FloQast
- Gain experience in data analysis and journal entry preparation
- Strengthen problem-solving and critical thinking through real accounting challenges
- Develop risk-based decision-making skills using poker-inspired frameworks, applying probability and strategic trade-off analysis to evaluate data-driven financial choices

Experience & Skills
- Familiarity with G-Suite or Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Currently enrolled Junior or Senior in college pursuing a degree in Accounting or related field
- Availability to work in-office 3 days, 20 hours a week (schedule is somewhat flexible)
Qualities & Preferences
- Familiarity with accounting software (Netsuite, Sage, SAP, etc.) a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a passion for problem-solving
- Always seeking new learning opportunities and a “learn by doing” mentality
$22.00/hr and an estimated 20 hours a week (3 days in-office)
