Opportunities to Contribute
- Performs administrative duties as assigned by the Assistant Department Head of the Mathematics Department.
- Collaborates with and supports the incoming Director of the AP Institute in Mathematics and Computer Science to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
- Assists in preparation and planning efforts for the Institute’s upcoming fiscal year.
- Develops agendas and coordinates activities aligned with the goals and strategic priorities of the AP Institute in Mathematics and Computer Science at Texas A&M University.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Two years of experience providing professional development and mentoring faculty.
- Knowledge of AP Institute in Mathematics and Computer Science at TAMU.
- Desire and ability to mentor instructors short term.
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to assist with the preparation for the Institutes next year.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
