Pack/Ship - Light Assembly

Position Summary

The Pack/Ship team member is responsible for performing a variety of manufacturing and production tasks related to the preparation, assembly, packaging, and processing of pyrotechnic devices and other products made at RES Pyro. This position supports both pre-production and post-production processes and plays an important role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, accurately, and according to established specifications.

The position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, physical dexterity, and the ability to follow written procedures and instructions consistently. The Pack/Ship team member will work in close proximity to energetic and explosive materials and must strictly follow all company, federal, and facility safety requirements.

Previous manufacturing or pyrotechnics experience is not required. Comprehensive on-the-job training and required certifications will be provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate machinery, tools, and production equipment to assemble, fabricate, package, or process products according to established production guidelines.
• Perform pre- and post-production activities for various pyrotechnic devices.
• Complete a variety of production tasks, including packaging, boxing, weighing, gluing, labeling, assembly, and other related duties.
• Read and accurately interpret work orders, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), product specifications, and process documentation.
• Follow established production processes to ensure products are assembled and processed accurately and consistently.
• Perform quality checks on products throughout the production process and upon completion to ensure they meet established specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company procedures and applicable safety regulations.
• Follow all SOPs, safety procedures, PPE requirements, and other established protocols at all times.
• Work cooperatively with team members and other departments to meet production goals, schedules, and deadlines.
• Participate in required training, safety meetings, and certification programs to develop and maintain knowledge of production processes and safety requirements.
• Assist with other production or company-related tasks as needed to support overall business operations.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Safety and Regulatory Requirements

Safety is a fundamental responsibility of this position. Because the work is in close proximity to energetic and explosive materials, employees must demonstrate a high level of safety awareness and consistently follow all established safety requirements.

Employees are expected to:

• Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations and procedures.
• Follow all SOPs and written work instructions without deviation unless otherwise directed by authorized personnel.
• Wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area to minimize safety risks.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, equipment problems, or production concerns to a supervisor.
• Maintain required training and certifications associated with the position.
• Remain focused and attentive while performing production duties.
• Follow all restrictions and procedures associated with working around energetic and explosive materials.

Qualifications and Skills

• No previous manufacturing or pyrotechnics experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow written instructions.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, SOPs, and production documentation.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to recognize and communicate production or safety concerns.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and production techniques.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safety-conscious work environment.

Physical and Work Environment

• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Ability to use hands and fingers for detailed production and assembly work.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials and finished products as required by the position.
• Work may involve exposure to dust, chemicals, manufacturing materials, and energetic/explosive materials.
• Work is performed in a regulated manufacturing environment where strict adherence to safety procedures is required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Pre-Employment Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check and drug screening.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
