What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint, Pack & Ship Lead - 1st Shift position at miratechcorp?
Reports to: Production Manager
Cooperates with: Production, Accounting, Sales, Shipping, Vendors, etc.
Primary Responsibility: Department lead for Paint, Pack and Ship for the MIRATECH Prior Lake facility on 1st shift.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and coordinate daily 1st shift activities within the Paint, Pack & Ship area to meet production goals for safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Provide direction, training, and support to team members while fostering a collaborative and safe work environment.
- Ensure all processes are completed according to ISO 9001:2015 standards and MIRATECH procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including inspection, certification, and shipping records.
- Operate and oversee use of paint equipment, packaging tools, saws, nail guns, cranes, and PCs for order fulfillment.
- Monitor and perform routine maintenance of warehouse and paint equipment.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization across all work areas.
- Act as the point of contact for shift performance issues, troubleshooting, and communication with leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
What Qualifies You:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in paint or shipping operations.
- Previous leadership or lead experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift certification or experience preferred.

Pay Range: $20/hr depending on experience
