Quality Service Tech

Position:                             Quality Control Technician – 2nd shift RQH

Department:                       Quality Control PM 

Hours: 3:00 p.m. – shift end (hours may vary)

Entry Rate of Pay:             $20.00/hour $1.00/hour shift premium.

NOTE: Food Manufacturing Quality Control Technician experience (required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Including, but not limited to:

• Hourly line audits

1. Monitor and verify correct packaging area parameters are met (i.e. code dates, packaging, labels, etc.)
2. All duties include detailed and accurate information tracking and documentation per standardized procedures
   1. Net weight monitoring

• Monitoring kitchen activities
• Operational sanitation audits 
• Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) monitoring in areas of responsibility 
• Sample collection as appropriate
• Communication of issues from shift to shift, department to department
• Equipment calibration/verification

Job Environment

• Manufacturing environment working in coolers and freezer occasionally with most work in normal temperature area.
• Work with refrigerated, frozen and hot products.
• Wet environment (full wash down production area).
