R&D Test Technician

Job Title: R&D Technician

Duration: 6 Months (Possible extension)

Location: Marlborough, MA 01752

Onsite Role

Responsibilities:

• Works under limited supervision assisting R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.
• Performs routine and some non-routine technical assignments using standard methods and sequences.
• Performs set-up, testing, repair, inspection, and/or maintenance of all area-specific equipment materials, systems and/or project.
• Assemble prototypes/products per design plan.
• Troubleshoot and suggest creative solutions to process and design issues.
• Test prototypes per engineering instructions and document test results.
• Use internal and qualified vendors to assist engineering teams to obtain supplies and services.
• Communicate assignment status to project engineers.
• Perform basic statistical analysis of results.
• Train others on new product processes and procedures.
• Support calibration and maintenance programs for R&D Test Equipment.

Education/Experience:

• AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 1 year of related experience.
