Job Title: Lab Assistant
Duration: 5 Months (Possible extension)
Location: Deland, FL 32724
Onsite Role
May be assigned to work a designated shift on day/evening/night.
Responsibilities:
- Performs specimen accessioning, data entry, processing, and other non-technical duties in the laboratory under the general supervision of the Supervisor.
- This position reports to the Manager, Laboratory (Lab).
- Performs specimen processing in the Laboratory, processing and testing of specimens.
- Receiving and processing of specimens
- Preparing specimens for testing
- Testing of specimens
- Reagents inventory
- Monitors daily quality control
- Assists Clinical Support department in receiving, and processing.
- Unpack boxes containing specimens
- Receiving and processing of specimens
Education/Experience:
- 0 to 2 years experience
- Bachelor’s degree Biological Sciences preferred
- Basic computer skills, MS Office applications proficiency required
- Clinical laboratory experience preferred
Salary : $23 - $25
