Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Shift: 1st Shift

Specific to the manager role:

• Theyll be looking for someone with more experience and leadership.
• A person agile in being able to jump in to fill gaps with business support analysts. Key three she mentioned for the manager:
• Financial Control - someone with some pure accounting knowledge and experience.
• Planning and Analysis - strong background with reporting and interpreting data
• Business Support

Key Accountabilities

• Support the monthly financial reporting process for Defence; responsibilities include posting journals and completing actual and forecast schedules with supporting commentary and variance analysis
• Provide Business partner services as required.
• Support the development and maintenance of the Strategic Plan, Five Year Plan, in year forecast, and APly opportunities, threats, and levers.
• Perform monthly Balance Sheet reviews, validating and explaining key Balance Sheet movements and closing out key control items as required.
• Presenting financial data to management and be capable of validating and explaining the accounting policies, principles, and procedures involved
• Improving financial processes and maintain their alignment with associated processes
• Researching and reviewing accounting issues and providing recommendations and support
• Support the development and maintenance of long-term project and contract profit plans, including Long-Term Contract Reviews (LTCRs)
• Provide ad hoc support such as, but not limited to, contract billings and payments and misc. financial analysis as required for the Defence Finance team.

Basic Requirements:

• Associates Degree with at least 4 years of Accounting or Financial analysis experience;
• Bachelors degree with at least 2 years of Accounting or Financial analysis experience;
• Masters degree; ORJD/PhD

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• SAP Experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• CPA or MBA
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Reporting
• Experience in Aerospace/Manufacturing experience.
• Experience in VBM,HFM, Oracle
