Job Title: Concierge/ Area Showroom Associate
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 12 Months Contract Possibilities of Extension
Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Thursday, 30-32 hours per week)
Job Description:
- A sales support role focused on execution and support.
- Takes ownership of the details of a showroom.
- Supports Showroom Reps and Showroom Manager to prepare showroom for client visits and events.
- Owns take-down process after events and tours.
- Along with all WLC employees always maintains a clean and tidy space.
- Build skills in Sales Mockups Client Experiences.
- Supports coordination of client visits and events.
- Ensures a positive customer experience and develops sales opportunities using soft selling tools.
- Books and administers conference and office space reservations catering requests and AV/technology set up and resources
Additionally employees are expected to abide by all internal control compliance practices to:
- Safeguard assets from theft and misuse. Ensure segregation of duties to minimize fraud.
- Comply with business ethics applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Periodically reconcile physical assets to accounting records.
Skills/Abilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors ensure a welcoming and professional environment
- Support showroom maintenance product updates and mock-up setups
- Assist with booking spaces coordinating catering setting up AV/tech and troubleshooting
- Coordinate maintenance cleaning staff lighting replacement repairs
- Provide basic product information and support walk-in demonstrations
- Learn and apply Steelcase insights and tools in client interactions
- Provides some regional sales administrative support
- Owns all Mailroom activities deliveries troubleshoot printer needs orders supplies
- Maintain samples library restocking and coordinate furniture sample requests
- Maintain a relationship with the property management team and associated facilities support functions.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and basic tech tools
- Customer service orientation and attention to detail
- Strong growth mindset with a willingness to jump in and support as needed
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
