Responsibilities:
- Develop legislative strategies across multiple Southeastern states and policy priorities.
- Lead advocacy efforts from legislative introduction through final passage.
- Build relationships with lawmakers, state agencies, governors’ offices, and allies.
- Manage in-state contractors, stakeholder outreach, and legislative advocacy efforts.
- Coordinate state initiatives across policy, communications, and development teams.
Requirements:
- 5 years of government affairs, legislative, campaign, or policy experience.
- Strong understanding of state legislative processes and political environments.
- Proven ability to manage legislative strategies across multiple states.
- Excellent communication, organization, stakeholder management, and political judgment skills.
- Proficiency with project management, research, and AI tools.
- Preference for candidates based in North Carolina, South Carolina, Arkansas, or Alabama.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout assigned states and during legislative sessions.
Compensation: $100,000–$130,000 annually DOE, plus benefits.
