We’re working on a high-level Controller search with a leading political consulting and media firm.
This role will oversee financial operations across multiple entities and service lines, with direct impact on executive decision-making and firm growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee financial operations across multiple entities and service lines
• Manage monthly close, consolidations, and reporting accuracy
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for leadership
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies
• Implement financial controls and improve processes across business units
• Coordinate audits, banking relationships, and external partners
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 5 years experience in accounting or financial management roles
• Experience with multi-entity financials and consolidated reporting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, controls, and audit processes
• Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency
• Strong communication skills supporting executive leadership
Compensation:
Salary varies DOE, starting at $200k
