Job Summary
As a Document Control Specialist, you will manage and maintain project documentation for the Engineering & Construction (E&C) team, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role also includes supporting SAP administration tasks for the Engineering & Construction team, Development team, and Operations & Maintenance related to document workflows, material requisitions, and project data integrity.
The position is based in Downtown Houston with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

This role also includes supporting SAP administration tasks for the Engineering & Construction team, Development team, and Operations & Maintenance related to document workflows, material requisitions, and project data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
Document Management
- Establish and maintain document control processes for RRSNA projects.
- Ensure accurate filing, retrieval, and distribution of engineering drawings, specifications, and vendor documents.
- Maintain version control and ensure timely updates of all controlled documents.
- Support audits and compliance checks by providing accurate documentation records.
- Create and manage document-related workflows in SAP.
- Assist with material requisition entries and tracking in SAP.
- Maintain data integrity for project-related records in SAP modules.
- Generate reports from SAP for project status and documentation compliance.
- Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
- Provide training and guidance on document control procedures and SAP usage for team members.
- 3 years in document control within engineering or construction projects.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or other billing/accounts payable processing platform(s).
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and project documentation requirements.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, records or project management, or related field.
- Experience in renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
