What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multi-Process Specialist - Silver & Collectibles position at Replacements, Ltd.?
Position Summary:
Under minimal supervision and in a team-oriented environment, the Multi-Process Specialist performs the full scope of Order Processing Specialist tasks for the Silver and Collectibles product categories. The role is cross-trained across order pulling, order packing, and silver polishing, and is accountable for meeting established productivity and quality benchmarks.
What You'll Do:
- Pull pieces to fulfill Silver and Collectibles orders and verify that pieces are correct (including pattern name, piece type, size, quantity, and quality).
- Flag problem orders and process damaged stock according to established procedures.
- Maintain inventory integrity by straightening and organizing shelves while pulling.
- Pack Collectibles and Silver orders (including regular, hand-craft, hollowware, returns, and special care orders) using packing methods appropriate to order type and size; confirm pattern name, piece type, size, reference, quantity, and quality.
- Clean and prepare pieces for packing; follow procedures for items that cannot be cleaned.
- Select appropriate box type required by the carrier, and box size required by the order size and weight.
- Make boxes for shipments.
- Polish Silver according to polishing procedures; select appropriate polishing compounds and tools; polish incoming product while meeting polishing expectations; verify for accuracy and quality and appropriately handle pieces that cannot be polished satisfactorily.
Position Requirements:

Demonstrate product knowledge appropriate to role level (Silver & Collectibles).

Operate specialized inventory systems (e.g., ORION, Optical Pattern Identifier/OPI) at the required proficiency.

Follow detailed SOPs; recognize fine differences in patterns, piece types, sizes, and quality.

Organize your work independently; manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.

Work quickly without sacrificing quality to meet throughput and accuracy benchmarks.

Collaborate well in a team environment; communicate clearly in English (written and verbal).

Use common computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).

Maintain an orderly, clean work area and follow all safety regulations.

Deliver excellent service to internal and external customers.
- Ability to work weekend shifts during holiday peak periods.
Physical & Safety Requirements (Warehouse Environment):

Stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods; bend to access low shelves.

Occasionally push/pull and climb ladders safely; push/pull product carts.

Regularly lift/carry up to 15 lbs; occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs.
