What You'll Do
- Respond to dispatched plumbing service calls at residential and light commercial properties
- Diagnose plumbing issues and present repair and replacement options using a Good, Better, Best approach
- Educate customers and build trust through professionalism and exceptional service
- Close service opportunities during the appointment
- Perform high quality plumbing repairs and installations, including water heaters, drains, pipe repairs, fixtures, sewer mainlines, and excavation projects when needed
- Create estimates and invoices using the company iPad
- Maintain truck inventory and ensure proper job documentation
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every service call
QualificationsRequired
- Five or more years of residential plumbing service experience
- Proven ability to diagnose issues, present solutions, and close work during service calls
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self motivated, performance driven, and comfortable discussing pricing with homeowners
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred
- Experience with slab leaks
- Sewer and drain cleaning experience
- Excavation experience
- Repipe experience
- HOA or commercial plumbing experience
- Uponor certifications or other advanced plumbing certifications
Compensation
This is a performance based position offering an hourly base plus uncapped commission.
Technicians begin with an hourly training wage and then transition into a performance based compensation plan. Your hourly base serves as a safety net. If your commission earnings do not exceed your guaranteed hourly equivalent during a pay period, the company will make up the difference.
Our highest performing technicians earn the majority of their income through commission and production incentives.
There is no cap on what you can earn.

Schedule
- Service hours are 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM
- Technicians generally work standard daytime shifts
- One night per week on call rotation
- Nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Consistent year round work
