Headquartered in Strongsville, Ohio, Repair Authority provides home medical equipment repair services, with additional locations in facilities in Fort Worth, TX, and Manchester, TN. We repair Home Medical Equipment [HME] that treats respiratory illnesses and sleep disorders, including ventilators, oxygen concentrators, CPAP devices, and more. We play a critical role in ensuring that patients can stay safe and healthy at home. All employees must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

No experience necessary! Our Receiving Clerk is responsible for handling the intake of home medical equipment as it arrives at Repair Authority for service. This position requires exceptional attention to detail to ensure that the unit’s details are entered into our ERP system accurately. At the time of intake, the Receiving Clerk also verifies warranty status using outside databases, checks any specific customer instructions, and routes equipment to the appropriate internal location. This position plays a critical role in timely processing units to efficiently get the unit back to the patient.

Tasks

· Receive incoming equipment by entering it into an ERP system.

· Look up warranty information on each unit.

· Review customer instructions to ensure proper processing.

· Keep records of units received and the length of time spent on each

· Maintain equipment service records in the system.

· Assist in other departments as necessary.

Qualifications

· Exceptional attention to detail in documenting/recording information

· Ability to make decisions and solve problems.

· Proficiency in interacting with computers.

· Able to type over 25 words a minute.

Physical Demands

· Frequent sitting, some on feet moving around equipment in a warehouse environment.

· Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.

· Set for lengthy periods while viewing a PC monitor.

· Able to walk without aid.

Education and Experience

· 2 years of general work experience

· Microsoft Windows (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) experience a plus
