Design-build firms, engineering firms, construction firms, and suppliers leverage the power of collaborative delivery to achieve better project outcomes together, using WCDA as a leading source of best practices, knowledge, and resources with the tools designed to help water utilities deliver projects that provide safe water services to communities.WCDA is seeking a dependable and experienced Education & Event Coordinator to assist the team with administrative tasks related to the day-to-day operations of several business units, education programs and event coordination. If you are passionate in supporting our organization through education, events and administrative tasks, we encourage you to apply!ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES· Collaborate with Education Director and graphic designer to produce marketing materials.· Track and request invoicing for education sessions, review and complete purchase orders, and monitor compliance with insurance carrier. · Support executives with travel and logistics surrounding education sessions.· Assist with event coordination for WCDA meetings and events.· Manage meeting and event registration, and pre and post event coordination.· Assist with meeting scheduling and Team invites and monitor responses to drive attendance. · Provide general administrative support to WCDA staff, committee members and instructors.· Manage accounts receivable phone calls. · Communication liaison creating announcements and updating the website.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products required (intermediate level of Excel preferred).· Experience with SharePoint (preferred).· Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and basic design platforms such as Canva (preferred).· Organized self-starter and motivated problem solver.· Critical thinking skills for problem solving and demonstrated leadership.· Clear and effective communication skills (both written and verbal).· Superior attention to detail, strong customer service and interpersonal skills.· Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues of all levels and build cross-functional relationships.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE· Bachelor’s degree (preferred). · 3 years of experience in an administrative support role (required).· 3 years of experience coordinating and executing events (required). · 1 years of experience working with volunteer groups (preferred).Company Description***REO Consulting is the recruitment partner of the hiring organization.***
