ReNuke Services is seeking Project Controls to support an SMR Team in Camden, NJ
The ideal candidates will have a strong background in Project Controls Scheduling as well as Structuring defined scopes of work (from team leads) into WBS
· Building P6 schedules
· Integrating logic, resource loading, and levels to P6 schedule
· Defining resource plans to deliver P6 schedule
· Defining standard reporting tools/practices for stakeholders (DOE, management, etc.)
· Defining work control tools/practices for the team leads (work management practices)
· Client will provide P6 licenses and laptops to support work.
SCOPE OF WORK
The PC’s will support team leads in developing the scope of work for the project. This would involve ensuring work scope is complete, structuring work into logical work breakdown structures, and supporting documentation of the work plant following best practices (build the library of WBS dictionaries). PC’s would manage completion (drive complete, manage deliverables, facilitate).
· Build P6 Schedule and Initial Baseline: Lead development of a resource loaded, logic-tied, P6-based schedule. This should serve as the basis for budget forecasting, milestone completion, resource planning, EVM reporting, etc. Role would be to project manage (drive) and execute (work in P6, everything from entry to optimizing). The team leads are knowledgeable of the work, but not the scheduling process. Provide a schedule hierarchy such that summary level through working level schedules are connected (whether administratively or electronically).
· Define Resourcing Plans: Based on the schedule, develop resource plans required to achieve desired schedule, such as ramp rates and head counts.
· Define Standard Reporting Tools: Develop standard report forms and templates to report the desired outcomes to stakeholders. Major users are (1) DOE management, (2) Project and Engineering Management summaries, (3) Holtec senior management, (4) Required periodic progress reporting, (5) other.
· Define Work Control Tools: Advise and develop standards reports, tools, and processes for team leads to consistently execute work. This may be the form of task lists, variance reports, issue reports, etc. based on the schedule and scope. Assess current practice of timesheets and schedule to modify if needed for project execution.
Location – Ideally, Employees will be posted in Camden, NJ full-time or near-full time. For the right candidate, a hybrid work schedule with some travel to the site can be discussed.
Length of Assignment
· Initial: Envisioned as a short-term contract (~3 months) to complete initial scope. Needed ASAP, - December through March.
· Long term: Staff, if interested, may transition to supporting the project PMO later.
Pay: From $74.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
