ReNuke Services is hiring a Project Controls Specialist II (Cost & Scheduling) to support a major client project site in Raleigh, NC. This is a hybrid role requiring local candidates (no relocation support). We also have additional Project Controls opportunities at client sites across the U.S.
Key Requirements
- Must be local to Raleigh, NC
- Primavera P6 & Excel experience required (minimum 2 years with P6)
- Strong background in Project Controls (preferred over adjacent experience)
- Ability to work onsite 3 days/week (Tues & Thurs required)
Position Overview
The Project Controls Specialist II (PCS-II) plays a critical role in supporting project execution through cost control, scheduling, estimating, and change management. This position partners closely with 1–2 Project Managers and contributes to project success using established tools, standards, and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Analytics: Generate and analyze project performance data; validate metrics and maintain reporting documentation
- Change Control: Track, analyze, and process changes related to scope, schedule, and cost in alignment with governance standards
- Benchmarking & Continuous Improvement: Lead project controls assessments and implement best practices
- Scheduling & Cost Management: Support WBS development, scheduling, cost estimating, forecasting, and earned value analysis
- Estimate Development: Collaborate with estimators to build and maintain accurate project cost estimates
- Reporting & Analysis: Perform variance analysis, critical path evaluations, and project status reporting
- Team Collaboration: Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and support successful project delivery
